Description

Golden-rain Tree; Star of India. A spreading tree with leaves emerging red-pink turning mid-green. Small yellow flowers are followed by bladder-like pink or red flushed fruit. Max Height 10m. Max Spread 10m. Flowers July to August. Fruits September. Full sun. Hardy. Back-fill with soil mixed with peat substitute and a suitable fertiliser.
